An outing to the Codorniu cellars, in the Penedés area, about 30 Kilometres from Barcelona. The Penedés is the wine-growing region which created the “cava”, a sparkling wine vintage of worldwide renown. During the trip you will visit the Codorniu, a huge centre for the production of cava following the traditional methods of fermentation and storage of the sparkling wine in quiet cold caves excavated in limestone.
After the cellars the guests will visit Montserrat, the holy mountain of Catalonia, a majestic mountain about 60 kilometres from Barcelona. It name comes from its special silhouette, cut by erosion into a saw shape. The Royal Basilica houses the picture of the legendary “Virgen Morena”, patron saint of Catalonia. Girona, Figueras and Dali Museum excursion - Optional Tour

Lunch in Figueras, 30 kilometres from Girona, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, one of the best-known representatives of the surrealist movement. Visit of the Dalí Museum, an original and unique museum, the second most visited in Spain, presents the most re-known works of the surrealist artist.

Tarragona and Sitges excursion - Optional Tour

An outing to Tarragona, the city situated about 100 kilometres from Barcelona which was selected as the base for the romanisation of the Iberian Peninsula, and where Roman architectural remains are evident throughout the town: the ancient walls, amphitheatre, circus, praetorium and forum are especially worth seeing.
Lunch in Sitges, a fashionable beach resort in which one can find a unique blend of sophisticated and plain tourism with one of the highest densities of artists per square meter of the Mediterranean Coast.
Artists, such as Rusiñol or Utrillo, already discovered its charm at the end of the XIXth century. The Cau Ferrat Museum, former residence of Rusiñol, and also the Maricel Museum, display beautiful samples of the Catalan modern arts. Lunch in Sitges is included in the tour.
