The Modernist movement is reflected in the architecture of the “Eixample” district. A central sector of the Eixample is the Quadrat d’Or (Golden Square) because of its concentration of Modernist Buildings. A trip through the Catalan Modernism - Art Deco, Modern Style - an artistic current which manifested in Europe around the turn of the century whose main features are the variety of forms and the richness of its decorative elements. A large proportion of the masterpieces of modernist architects such as Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner and Puig i Cadafalch are concentrated in the “Eixample” quarter. We can visit the masterpiece of Gaudí’s work: the Parque Güell and the Sagrada Familia.
A panoramic tour of the city, from the mountain to the sea, passing through some of the most representative avenues and buildings: Montjuïc Mountain, stop to admire a panoramic view of the city and the Port, the Ramblas, the Paseo de Gracia, the Diagonal, the Sagrada Família and the Olympic Port.

Its name means "4 cats", which is a Spanish expression meaning "a few unimportant persons". They serve one of the best coffees of BCN, so is a good option for breakfast, when is not as crowded as in the evenings.


We will visit the Palau de la Música Catalana is one of the world's leading concert halls.
Considered to be one of Modernism's chief exponents, it was built by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner between 1905 and 1908.
In 1997 it was declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO.
We will continue to Las Ramblas and will arrive to El Liceo, where we will visit the most representative areas: the Hall, the Room of Mirrors and the Foyer (in Catalan, Spanish and English).
